Privacy policy

This page describes what personal data Certline collects, processes, and stores. It is intended to be a plain-language statement of our data handling practices.

Legal entity: Certline is a product name. A legal entity, jurisdiction, and registered address have not yet been established. These details will be published here when available. Until then, this policy is a statement of intent, not a contractual document.

What we collect

What happens when you use the tool

When you enter a hostname and click Check, that hostname is sent to the backend server, which opens a TLS connection to that host, inspects the certificate, and returns the result. The hostname is not persisted, logged, or stored beyond the duration of the request. No data is retained after the response is delivered.

Third-party services

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which manages DNS and edge routing. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and request metadata as part of its standard network operations, governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy. Certline does not control what Cloudflare logs.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when a legal entity is established or when the service's data handling practices change. The date of the last update is shown below.
